Sports & Science

The Nano on Surf team was on the volleyball court with Sports Club ‘Las Flores Sevilla’ to talk about the International Day of Women and Girls in Science and our science projects to improve the world around us through science and new technologies.

STEM Talent Girls

“¡Mom/dad I made a solar cell at school today, I want to become a scientist!” We have talked about  the situation of women and girls in science to students of the Adharaz school  (Seville) and making scientific experiments.

Little scientists, big experiments

Nano on Surf team gave a workshop on scientific experiments to preschool and primary school students from Las Salesianas School (Seville). They became explorers and scientists for a day and learned about science through food and other objects that we usually have at home.

Plasmania

The researcher of the Sound Of Ice project, Carmen Lopez Santos, gave various conferences in different institutes of Andalusia on the importance of working to make women in science visible and encourage #STEM among young women.
